Goat milk herd share customers will receive one quart of fresh goat milk per week, per share.

Pick up your goat milk from the fridge at our Roots & Boots Homestead farm stand.  Your name will be on the lid of the jar.  Please take only the jar bearing your name!

Goat milk for each week will be available for pick up on Wednesday.  If you can't make it on Wednesday, your milk will remain in the fridge until you are able to pick it up.  Any unclaimed milk still in the fridge on the following Tuesday will be removed and replaced with that week's fresh milk.

After you finish the milk in your first jar, wash the jar and lid and dry thoroughly.  Return the clean jar and lid to the fridge at the farm stand when you pick up your next jar of milk.  Each week, you will return a clean jar and lid and pick up a filled jar of milk.  If your clean jar is not returned, we will be unable to provide your jar of milk the following week.

If you are traveling or cannot pick up your milk for any reason, please consider offering that week's milk share to a friend who can pick it up in your place.

Goat milk is available from May through November.  After November, your recurring monthly payment will end.

To continue for a second year or beyond, you will not need to sign paperwork again and the $50 one-time fee is waived, because you already completed those steps to join the herd share in the previous year.  To continue, you will resume the $40 monthly payments.  If necessary, you will pay the $10 jar deposit again.  (If you still have an intact set of two jars and two labeled lids, the $10 jar deposit will be waived.)
