Drudgery or holy calling: it’s your choice. Le Drudgery or holy calling: it’s your choice.

Let your service be a gift freely given to your family instead of a weapon of resentment held against them.

Don’t waste your days on bitterness and discontent.

Determine to be faithful and joyful as you serve your family, and watch your capacity to do so grow. 💕

I’m sure it will be soon! 🙏🏻🍅 I’m st I’m sure it will be soon! 🙏🏻🍅

I’m still drowning in tomatoes but the end is in sight. 😅 And I have a new toy to play with when it comes to preserving garden produce…catch a sneak peek in my stories!

How are you preserving your end-of-season tomatoes?

Save your seeds for next year AND for gifting this Save your seeds for next year AND for gifting this holiday season!

At first, I felt like saving seeds was more trouble than it was worth. But then came 2020 with seed shortages, plus I started to get hooked on this lesser known side of gardening.

One of the biggest advantages of saving your own seeds is adaptability: seeds saved from plants that grew in your garden will be better adapted to continue growing in your climate and your soil.

And the more seeds you save, the less you must depend on outside sources. It simplifies the process (no ordering/purchasing) and reduces the risk (what if they’re out of stock/unavailable).

PLUS, it’s so fun to make gifts of your homegrown seeds!

Do you save seeds? Have you ever given or received homegrown seeds?

You can find several videos demonstrating how to save your own seeds, including basil, on my YT channel. Comment below if you need the link!

Can you relate?👇🏻 September is always a tom Can you relate?👇🏻

September is always a tomato marathon for me here in zone 7A. 😜

I’ve already canned and dried and frozen soooo many tomato things that I’m actually considering pulling my tomato plants early this year.

BUT I just received a very special delivery today…something that will introduce a new way for me to preserve tomatoes…I’m excited to try it!

Any guesses??
And are you drowning in tomatoes too?

Does this concern anyone else? 👇🏻 Or is it Does this concern anyone else? 👇🏻

Or is it just me?

You don’t have to grow it yourself in order to teach your kids where food comes from. Take them to a farm. Take them to a farmers market. Read books about people who grow food. If you can, try growing something, even if it’s just in a pot.

Please don’t let your kids grow up thinking that food just appears at the store! 😳
